Precipice Improv Theater presents
Final summer performances of three comic plays improvised from audience suggestions by Precipice Improv Theater,
Friday and Saturday nights, August 29th and 30th at 8 pm, and Sunday afternoon at 2 pm at Imagination Stage in downtown Bethesda, 4908 Auburn Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814
Precipice Improv is going small. Oh, we're still reaching for big things but our next shows will be in a small, intimate studio where your suggestions will come to life in our improvised plays. You'll be close to the action, you'll be close to the actors, you'll be close to each other. (Uh, we hope that's OK.) You know what else is small? The price. So come out, have fun with us, and enjoy the labor day weekend!

Precipice actors Bob Adler, Ric Andersen, Dan Mont, and Sheila Thibodeau will improvise three completely different plays, one each night on Friday and Saturday nights, August 29th and 30th at 8 pm and one Sunday afternoon on August 31st at 2 pm at Imagination Stage in downtown Bethesda."

What is a Precipice improvised play like?
At one performance, the audience suggested that our play take place at now-defunct Lehman Brothers and the Magic School Bus. From these suggestions, Precipice improvised a comic tale of a married couple and their best friend, who lose their jobs when Lehman Brothers goes bankrupt, triggering a journey of self-discovery that culminates in a trip on the Magic School Bus, where the couple's pampered, wimpy, and now anxiety-ridden 13-year old son sheds his high-pitched voice and shy demeanor to win the heart of the girl at school who rejected him.
